The Electronic Funds Transfer Association (EFTA) is the nation’s leading inter-industry professional association promoting the adoption of electronic payment systems and commerce.

Its diverse membership includes:

· Prepaid and mobile payment providers
· Security & technology management companies
· Government agencies
· Industry consultants

For 30 years EFTA has provided its diverse membership with timely information and expert analysis regarding issues facing the electronic payments industry.

EFTA presents members with numerous opportunities each year to interact directly with legislators and regulators who make and implement public policy.

EFTA’s mission is to give members a voice in the legislative and regulatory processes that will define their businesses far into the future.

The recipients of the EFTA eGovernment Payments Council 2011 Lifetime Achievement Awards
are Bard Shollenberger, vice president, ACS Government Solutions Group, winner of the Distinguished Service award; and Art Burger, executive vice president, Burger Carroll & Associates, Inc., winner of the eGPG Pioneer award. The awards were made November 8 at the 14th annual EBT--The Next Generation conference in Clearwater, FL.
